well i have learned here in the last few days that it doesnt pay to be nice.. i am a very nice person and will give the shirt off my back to help some out, but u can only do it so much before someone will take advantage of u and stab u in the back for being to nice... u can only be nice so much .. i have learned to take care of myself first but still be there for other but at a distance..
