I have seen the saying "what would hapen if no one volintered". What do you think would happen if no one was willing to be on a volintear fire company or EMS?
Do you do what you can to help them by donating to them when the chance arises? Even if it is just mere pennies? Dont you know every little bit helps?
It is now 2:11 am where I live and just a few minits ago the fire wisle went off at the fire station. This fire station is a volintear company and every one that volintears there just went flying down the road to the station house to sute up and get in to the trucks and go to there call. Seams that it was not far up the road from where I lived I took a little stroll to see where they were stoping at. They are curently working at putting a fire out at a house that I know has people living there. I do bleave that there are children there as well. If it were not for them than I supose all would be lost because they are the only fire company in this town. I wonder how many were in home asleep with there own families or at work and have to be woken up or leave work just because they got called to a fire. Can you imagin having to run out of the house at an hour like this just to go some pleace to put out a fire knowing in the back of your mind that you are putting your life at risk just to help out some one that you may not even know.
I know I'm not able to help out in any way fashion or form so I came back home so that I would not be in there way. I do wish them the best of luck and intend on scrounghing any and all change up the next time they have one of ther fund rasing things going on. In my opinion ever little bit dose help no matter if it is dollers or pennies. It all dose add up to help them get the equpment that they need to do there jobs.
If you do not think what I say is true than look at the fire company in your town ask your self if they are a volintear squad or if they are paied. If they are a volintear than ask your self what would happen if they just stop volintearing and you or some one you knew needed there help.
