Love is not found in a fast food wrapper
Quickly consumed, the crumbs tossed away.
There is much delight to be discovered
In a leisurely paced meal gourmet.
A fine romance must be allowed to breathe,
To be savored in delicate sips.
Inhale the rich fragrance, enjoy the blush
And then let if flow through your lips.
Ignore the temptation to rush the chef,
Hunger is sated when slowly appeased.
Admire the glowing of soft candlelight
While fingertips brush arms lightly teased.
Become acquainted with your dining mate
Till the entrée is steaming and hot.
The meal will be then most delectable
Patience rewarded with fondness sought.
When the dessert cart shines brightly before you,
You can indulge in a treat divine.
As the sugar melts in your mouth give thanks
You allowed love to take its sweet time.
Oh, how sweet and descriptive this poem on just how romance should truely be. I long to actually feel this type of romance in my life. How about you? Anybody out ladies out there in Fu-Land feel the same way? If so, there is alot of romance in me waiting for the right lady.
Love,
