| Me and my dad have always had a difficult relationship, weve hardly got along. Alot of the time while I was growing up, my dad never had a job. He either got fired or quit for one reason or another. In 12 years he worked for a total of about 3 to 4 years all total. All this on the heels of his divorce with his second wife (my stepmom). My question is, the whole time, I was embarrased of my dad. Never had friends or anyone around. In fact, he knew I had a girl, but not how far my relationship with her went. Never met her or anything either. Is it, or was, it ok to have been embarrased? |
