| Ok well one of my friends came to me with a problem she was having. Normally I can handle most problems, but this one after I was done I felt I needed help with and to see if I gave good advice. Well she told me she got raped earlier this year and she told her family about. Well recently a lot of her family has been making her feel bad about it, especially her mom. They have been calling her a hoe and saying it was her fault because if she didn't have sex before she got married God wouldn't have punished her, by letting her get raped and so forth and so forth. Well she came to me because she felt she has to prove to her mom that she inst a hoe no matter what, but what i was telling her after i heard this is that she should probably distance herself from this so called family because they aren't supporting her and trying to help her feel better about what happened to her. They are trying to make it seem like her fault and calling her a hoe. So did i do right thing by tell her that she should distance herself from that hurtful family or should she try harder to make her family understand her? |
