Sitting here in the light
I feel so exposed
Everyone can see it

And sliding them across

All the emotion is lost
All the skin slowly opens
You see droplets form

This is the norm
It’s much easier here
Where pain can’t keep hold
The tears and the sadness
Have grown so old
Tired of crying
Tired of existing on this plain
Makes the blood come
And start to fall like rain
Drenching your soul
Covering everything else
Making it disappear
You get back to being yourself
