I have read so many things recently dealing with the secret.. Telling us we are being deceived and is it really the secret? Why are they doing this to create fear in everyone? Fear that we are not knowing the truth? or are we finding out the truth? that it is waking people up to understanding the basic laws of the Universe? Not one step is going to magically change a life.. not one teacher. There are many and someone out there is going to switch on that light bulb for you.
What gets me is the put down about the secret, and what you are being charged for this information, when there are others trying to jump on this bandwagon and make more money.. creating fear in you that you are not being told all the truth to mastering change in your life. Everything in life is created out of fear everything we buy almost every action you take is based on fear, fear creates wars. That is why Jesus says Fear not!! There has been a fear indulged on us to have a better home, make more money, wear the right jeans, buy the best make-up, with out this you will get wrinkles! with out this drug, the list could go on and on. If there was not fear based advertising where would they all be? Almost everyone out there is creating fear within us, to motivate you into wanting their product or buying into their ideas.
My thoughts on the Secret; I think its a great tool to use to help you understand that our thougths create conditions we bring into our lifes on a daily basis. It has been understood for generations and generations and taught by Jesus himself. One woman had a brillant idea to put together a film on what she has learned and share it.. Just like everyone else. If you are a reader and a student in spirituality. You will see the pieces of the puzzle coming together. I do not feel that the secret tells you to sit around and wish for a better life. It is telling you that everything needs to be in alignment. Your wishes your feelings your faith and above all action. If you read Joel Osteen who by the way is very popular he is saying the same thing based on the bible. Yes we need all the pieces of the puzzle to understand and every teacher that comes well help you to a new level. If you are just beginning you can not expect it to work over night. Some it does because instantly they get it. Why? maybe its because they are totally open to the information. If you are not willing to keep an open heart and mind. Will it work for you? you can not have any doubts. That is what everyone out there is telling you in the first place. If you doubt one thing it will not work no matter the effort you put into it.. it will fail .. If you believe you won't get that job, if you don't believe your lovable, if you don't believe on and on.. its as simple as that.
So by all means explore all there is to learning, every thing you can to better your life, it will help you.. The secret is an excellent tool to help do just that. I am not trying to make money I have no connections to anything regarding the secret. My gift is helping others and sharing what i know on a daily basis. Making others feel good.. it's just what I am learning is all.
