ugh.
i'm enlisted in the United States Navy i leave march 18th for boot camp
me and my mom are going to florida for 11 days to visit my aunt and my grandmother before i leave.
which means i have to have my going away party before i leave for florida.
this means having the party on this saturday i have a hall reserved and everything but my father is supposed to be paying for it. but he isn't helping out at all with anything... and i really don't know if he is going to pay for it or not and if not there is no way i can.
idk what to do... i've approached him and asked him and he just basically makes me feel like crap for not being able to pay for it myself and saying that i'm lazy and that i should have had this all planned out years ago when i just found out that i'm going to Florida as a gift from my mom.
you think after him being in the navy when he was my age he should know how important this party is its my last time to get together with my family and friends and have one final send off before i leave. ugh idk....
so what do i do?
skip out on my party and say fuck it
or try to pull it off and borrow money from someone
