Elephone has introduced the G7, the thinnest smartphone in its own house. To finally get to the point: It is 5.5 millimeters thick or thin. This is quite remarkable, making it one of the thinnest smartphones, the G7 can be bought now.
The trend towards thin devices can presently be seen everywhere. Of course you have to make compromises but then. Unfortunately, these compromises fall in Elephone G7 pretty clear. For use unfortunately is not a 64 bit chip, but only a MT6592M SoC Mediatek, which is not really up to date in light of the new generation of MediaTek chips. Not-to-date is also the small memory of only one gigabyte, which is almost always a knock-out criterion. After all, the battery 2.650mAh is relatively large - at least that's the official statement. The display is 5.5 inches tall, but only offers 720p resolution. Despite the bad specifications of the Elephone G7 cost around 120 euros, which is for the performance offered quite a lot, given the small thickness, however, is bearable.
So for the small thickness of the smartphone you have to take a bad processor, low memory and a lack of LTE support in purchasing. Considering that Elephone offers with the P6000 and the Elephone P3000S much better equipped devices at a similar price, the G7 is a pretty poor choice in my opinion. Here Elephone times should penetrate reconsider its own portfolio. It almost seems as if there would slowly lose even through the wide and colorful to the market, to keep track.
