In the glacial
barrens of my mind,
I never saw her,
a ribbon of red silk,
in a world of frozen white.
In my strangest dreams,
I never would have heard her voice
and the mad chaos
of her world,
so alien to mine,
like transmissions
from a jungle planet.
In my quiet times,
as I wind down,
I'll keep a few syllibles
of her voice,
allow them to echo in my ears.
Roll across
