Sat evening on March 28 a number of cities around the globe will be taking part in an event called "earth hour". People will be shutting off their lights in their houses ( or buildings ) between the hours of 8 and 9 oclock to demonstrate that they are in favor of our governments working towards the reduction of activities that harm the environment.
I beleieve CNN is going to cover this internatinal event during their news programs.
Will would personally take part in this event by turning off the lights at your house (assuming you live in a populated area) during "earth hour"? |
