It is important to preserve your consitutional right to bear arms and even to form a group to defend your state from a certified enemy.
But we got a problem because too many of the wrong people are getting guns and using them for different crimes. Sooooo, I came up with a solution which is totally my idea and not one gathered elsewhere.
In my plan you can still own guns but must keep them at a gun club - the gun club would provide target ranges, places to hunt on the property, events and gun shows, and lots of fun stuff. The guns would be kept in a highly secure environment so no crooks can steal them. A law would be made that no governmental department - state or federal - can remove or "round up" those guns for any reason.
Gun clubs would be set up all around each state for easy access of club members. I (those who effect this plan) would put the NRA in charge of running all the clubs so that way they would make millions in club memberships and would support my idea to the max.
Once the responsible gun owners get their guns into a NRA club then it would be unlawful to have a gun anywhere else - cops could take away any guns they find during their normal duties and persons violating the law would pay fines also - twice the fine if you have a police record.
Gun stores would have to get store spaces within the gun club as guns cannot leave the property unless the NRA releases them in fear that the government or some outside country might attack our rights as citizens.
You would have to safeguard your self or house with other kinds of equipment - not guns. But ONLY if you live in a populated area, if you live in a remote area like on a farm then this law would not apply to you.
So help me make up my mind - is this a good idea or not? Post or respond to comments made if you wish.
