Dubuque family cheap nfl jerseys protests at Dubuque courthouse over proposed plea

DUBUQUE (KWWL) A Dubuque family continues to seek justice for two year old Bentley Randall of Dubuque. Randall died on November 25, 2012, from head trauma and burns. According to police, the mother of two year old Bentley Randall, Kylee Vandermuelen, of Dubuque, dropped her son off with Nicholas Reed, her boyfriend, before work on Friday, November 23, 2012. When she returned, she says she found her son severely injured. He later died from his injuries. Reed was accused of killing the 2 year old.In September, prosecutors dropped the first degree murder charge against him. Reed still faces charges of child neglect and drug charges related to the case.Jamie Ingles is Bentley's Great Aunt. She said her family was notified this week of a possible plea deal for Nicholas Reed. That plea deal would recommend up to 10 years imprisonment 10 years on cheap jerseys the child neglect charge and two concurrent five year sentences for the drug offenses, with a chance of early release. On Friday, Ingles along with friends and family stood outside the Dubuque County Courthouse protesting the possible plea deal."10 years is not good enough for letting a baby die. Even if they want to say that the murder charges are dropped and they can't prove it without a reasonable doubt there is still the fact that he did never call 911. He continuously let the baby lie there and continuously burn for three hours not a phone call to 911 at all," Ingles said.Ingles said she hopes to protest catches the judges attention, raises awareness about the case, and helps raise awareness about other children who are victims of abuse."We're talking all the kids in general, all these abused children. Children that have died at the hands of abuse, enough is enough. Something needs to be done," Ingles said.KWWL reached out to Judge Monica Ackley and other Dubuque County judges to comment about the case. The judges were not able to comment.KWWL also reached out to Nicholas Reed's attorney and Bentley's mom Kylee Vandermuelen. Messages left were not returned Friday.
