I'm also a professional traveler, for lack of better words. I'm always on the move and am always looking for something new to see / experience. I've been all across the United States, but I've yet to leave the country. Albeit, I plan on changing that real soon...

Yeah it's great! Well it's the second biggest city in Aus after Sydney. A lot of ppl compare to NY, actually a lot of films are done here with the pretence of being in NY lol It's the last Nicolas Cage one and I can't remember the title hahaI love it here...it has night life, but also a lot of other stuff, like festivals, music gigs, cultural such a theatre and musicals etc There is something for everyone :)
As I said I am not from there so I wouldn't know, but when I went, we flew to Brisbane (major city) and then drove to Byron Bay (it was about a 7 hour drive).It is border line between two states (NSW and QLD). However, it is close to the gold coast, which is similar to LA, Hollywood..like they have universal studio, sea world, disney stuff etc there. So you would be amongst all that stuff and nice weather :)
In terms of pot Byron bay is ideal lol lots of it there and lots of ppl smokin it there...in terms of the legalities of it, I am not sure how much you are entitled to grow or carry...I am not much into it, I just do the occasional drag or 2 lol so I can't help you there...In terms of where t start from...hmm that's a hard one..depends what you wanna do..if you prefer, metropolitan areas, or bush or even doind it raw :P We got it all haha
Byron Bay is beautiful! I am not from there so I don't know much about the market there. However, it has become more of a touristy place...laid back, hippie kinda place...it is rather small and it's mostly populated during the summer because of the tourists...so if you were to open a business there, something touristy then yeah if not, then I would say go to a city not a lil town such as Byron Bay..even tho it's beautiful it's more chill place, drinking and smokin' :D
