I pull into a prking spot at the grocery store. I go to get out and realize there is an elderly lady putting her groceries in her car, so I decide to wait the 10 minutes it takes. As she begins to back out I get out and start to take my kids out. I grab my daughter and my car jerks, I look up and she has hit the bumper of my car and pulls away. I was pissed. I did get her plate number but really there was no damage to my car but a scratch.
What I am upset about is the fact that she just pulled away. Did she not realize she hit my car? Is she not aware of her surroundings? Kinda makes me nervous about the people who walk in a parking lot. I know my husbands grandfather just had his license renewed at 94...WOW...So what I want to know is.....
Should they retest the elderly once they reach a certain age? |
