| where do you draw the line with doctors...the same doctor that diagnosed a family friends throat cancer as a sore throat, a misdiagnosis that took her life.....made a similar "mistake" with a long time friend of mine from high school and diagnosed his testicular cancer as a strained groin for months and he lost his battle with the cancer over the weekend...i understand that doctors can't know everything and will make mistakes but where do we draw the line??? how much different is it for this to happen and people losing their lives than someone accidentally hitting someone with their car??? those people are charged for a crime...my question is...should doctors be held by the same standard and be held responsible to the same level with their errors in judgement result in the loss of life? |
