So many are so lonely
for something that refuses to be named
I see some trying not to search,
they say they won't play that game....
yet we need to need,
we must press to the last,
immerse ourselves in the waters,
not stay on the other side of the glass...
life's over when it's over,
who can say when or what that is?
claimers of atheism make me laugh,
I'd like be a fly on the wall of THEIR death,
and be able to say hey, see
here we are, you and me
unshackled by flesh, free to fly away...
free to love, in any way...
but denial of sacred yet gives me a chill -
what purpose for life, then...
what reason to control the will...
you know who you are, my friend(s),
and I'm loving you today,
this is my gift, my story, my truth to send,
how I keep the chaos at bay...
come to me, if you want,
bring your beliefs as well
I'll treat them as the treasures you see them to be...
and if you leave them here with me,
so be it - time will tell
its side.
