My ex hasn't paid any child support for a good 11 months or better now. Although, he was in an accident just before Christmas. I truly believe he is just milking his injuries as just a few weeks after his surgery he told me he was moving a few trailers around the yard. Now my oldest tells me that he has been online since Tuesday playing World of Warcraft. He won't call the house mainly because my son was so PO'd at him when they moved down to TN but I think it's because he's afraid of what he's going to hear from me.
It's pretty sad when he can't send in any money that it has to be garnished from his wages and fails to give new employment information every time to Friend of the Court (FOC) up here. It's always up to me to track down the information through my own investigating or if he's willing to give the info to me. He never contacted FOC after the accident to let them know about the change of employment before the accident and to have the support reduced so it's been accumulating the entire time.
Don't get me wrong I know with the accident he is limited from what the doctors tell him but I'm only hearing his story (from past experience I never know what to believe) but if you can't send anything for support you shouldn't be paying for internet access and paying to play games online as World of Warcraft is about $15 a month plus his internet fee. Let's not forget how did he get a hold of a PC with the graphics and speed to play World of Warcraft? He could send a little to help out but doesn't unless he's backed into a corner about to go to jail!
