i went to the park where i did dwell
i saw a boy i knew so well
he sat a strange girl upon his knee
and told her things he never told me
now i know the reason why
the girl is prettier then i
i ran home to cry upon my bed
not a word to my mother i said
daddy came home the door he broke
and found me hanging from a rope
he got a knife, he cut me down
and in my dress this note he found
daddy..dig my grave and dig it deep
