The sounds drift along

Slowly getting louder

With noise and music

They bring the attention home

The noise and buzzing brings notice

People turning heads

Talking is heard

But only one is seen

Fingers are a tapping

Letters forming words

Floating in the air

Conversations flowing

From one to another

Secrets and lies are told

Friends and enemies

Come together

The world becomes smaller

As we embrace technology

A curse or life Only time will tell

Till the sun is bright and high

Till the stars are shining in the sky

I'll be missing you Forever as I always do

Till the mountains never fall

Till the oceans never dry

I'll be there for you Forever as I always do

My life is yours, My time is yours Forever and ever I am always yours

The desires I have The dreams I have

Will never be fulfilled without you

Your lips speak soft sweetness

Your touch a cool caress

Night into Day The roads are quiet As the night descends Walking along the street As each light passes overhead The darkness reclaims the day As its own, a world different From day. The memories, the dreams Are always vivid like stars In the night. Listen , Look, Wondering Where have the sounds gone Deserted like the grains of sand Gathering at the edge of town. Walking , running, where will it lead Hours and minutes pass by Thoughts and Ideas constant in my head. Leading me one way then another Like a maze in life as it is in dreams. The first rays of light appear The sun our savior from the darkness Another day begins As the night disappears…………………..

WATCHING THE DAY The sun begins to rise As the moon drifts down Towards the sea Submerged for a day Ready to begin another night The rays begin to warm the day Touching and caressing Easing over the ground, the trees The buildings brace for the heat That will begin the day ahead People emerge from the slumber of the moon To begin a day with the sun The streets are slowly filling Cars gaining momentum, Buses stopping and starting People walking to and fro The working day begins with pace As the sun heats, the traffic quickens The pulse of the city has awoken Gambling on a day is a common ritual Watching from my window The day passes slowly But for those below the day may never end.

WALKING INTO THE NIGHT Silence has fallen across the night Nothing stirs as the darkness falls My heart beat is all I hear Thoughts thinking, pushing the limits Lights over head as I pass The odd sound escaping from the darkness. A light comes from the darkness First white, then red as they float along the road Drifting away, further and further never turning back Escaping into the night to look for the daylight. Walking, stumbling never know what is ahead Surfaces changing only seeing briefly Disappearing as soon as they appear De ja vu has begun, have I been here before. Time has no effect, as I wonder aimlessly From light to light, further apart Brushing up against things, jumping These feelings are strange, but exciting. Feeling and wondering is this like being blind Senses all alive, tingling, excitement, fear Flowing throughout my body, control is the key. Minutes, hours maybe even days pass Darkness seems to never end In the distance, shadows appear Light is upon me Can I last Will it ever end.

Alone Walking beside u With the sky above A smile drifts slowly across your lips. As you walk alone I will be your shadow. I have lost my self Within your heart Knowing my thoughts And dreams are of you. The clouds of sadness Fall apon me as I see u walk Not knowing if your heart Belongs to another. I watch from the darkness Wondering if the day will come. When my wondering soul Will come to you as one. Night and day drift into one Time passes by Like a heart beat in life. I listen to your voice As if a million miles away, Your smile, your eyes Bring back memories of Time gone by. Alone I sit in this darkness Thinking and wondering ALONE……

Please do not worry now, All will be fine Give me your hand Across the miles I will hold you And the fear will go away. I place my hand in yours Knowing my trust In you is always strong As we travel my fear subsides Knowing your touch is never far away Only you make my heart sing the tune Wonder that is created in heaven above The friendship gift was given to us Blessings, happiness And joy for two lonely hearts My belief is sung As with you by my side The loneliness becomes Companions to friendship For two who’s hearts were lonely Now become one with words The joy is yet but far away Your touch is but a feeling Thousands of miles between But the thoughts and feelings Become one with us Your beautiful tune has been received With an applause and the heart beat Happy smiles and twinkle in an eye For the greatest of friendship I have not dreamt about In my entire life Well our dreams are shared Life has given us a pleasure to share With each day and night I wonder where the night is Awaiting the moon To share my dreams To share my thoughts With a friend many miles away

As the day drifts by My thoughts seem distant I amble along As the sun drifts over Reflections Mysteries Ponderings Is what puzzles My mind People passing by As I walk along Keeping my thoughts close Their stares are blank Distant, if not there As our eyes lock But only for a brief moment Who are you? What does u do? Where have you been? No smiles, no laughter Just silence as we pass by Not knowing Not caring All our lives drift by Never wondering Never questioning Are you a friend? Or a stranger
