I live downstairs from my friend of 20+ years. She is also my "landlady". By that I mean, she collects my rent. When I moved in, included in my rent, I was supposed to get: free cable, free internet, and free laundry.
The first month I waited for two weeks to get connected to the internet because she is technologically challenged. I had no cable the entire month because she had to get me a box for the satellite tv. I waited about a month to do laundry because everytime I went to do some, she had her stuff in the dryer or she was "just about to do some".
Currently, she is behind in her cable bill. So again, I am without cable. It's been about three weeks. And yesterday I ended up taking my laundry to the laundromat.
What should I do? Should I move, should I short-change her on my rent? Or is there something someone can suggest |
