i have a 90 fullsize bronco with the 5.0 engine and aod transmission. going to convert it from speed density with bank fire injection to either mass air with sequential fire injection or a carb setup. emissions is not an issue, but this vehicle is a daily driver and occasional offroader.
the mass air conversion is just a matter of removing the upper intake plenum and connecting the new harness to the injectors. swapping computer, new intake hoses to use the mass air meter and connecting the new harness to the computer and then plugging the old harness into that. and possibly installing a second o2 sensor.
carb setup swapping entire intake rebuilding a 500 cfm holley 2 barrel i have getting a distrubtor. and trying to find cables for the transmission since it uses a tv cable to control internal pressure.
it is possible both ways may cost the same amount due to some of the specialty parts for the carb setup.
