I have been friends with this guy and his wife for many years, I was in there wedding etc etc....I have always been closer to him,and lately they have been having problems in thier marriage and he often calls me for advice. He is like a younger brother to me, and I always try to be there for him like any good friend would be. Here's the thing recently in one of our conversations about his marriage and what he should do he started to ask me questions like what I think would've happened if he would've meet me before her. He admitted to me that he often thinks about me and what could've happened. I have never thought of him in this way and don't think I ever could. I have told him my thoughts on it and he continues to bring it up. I am worried that these thoughts will affect his decisions when it comes to his marriage. So my question is should I continue to give him advice and help him through this, or back off so that his thoughts of me don't affect his decisions?
A. Continue to be there for him..
