I walked into the room and saw a blur of a being. He was in a corner astonished. I wondered to myself what could it be? Was he someone like me? Someone who needed attention, affection, acception? I slowly made my way across the room just to see out of the corner of my eye his expression. I dare not stare for I do want him to stop meditating. The closer I drew to him, the more and more I felt his pain, his misery, his tenderness. I felt as though we were the only two people in the room. Without thinking, I placed my hand on his shoulder. "Why are you so down?" he replied, "Down? No. I'm not down. I was looking at this picture on the wall. It reminded me of a love I once knew. A love that is now lost." I lost my love tragically and she took my soul with her. I yearn for the opportunity again someday." "So why did you come here?" I said. He said, "I prayed before I came here. I asked God to send me an angel, to replace the one he had to call home."
I was surprised by his response. Only thinking to myself what great pleasure that must be. I could only stare at him. I couldn't help but recognize the energy between us.
He said " I saw you and instantly knew my angel had arrived." "I came over to this corner and cried tears of joy. I was joyous at what the Lord had done!"
He grabbed my hand and asked "May I have this dance?"
I smiled "Yes you may!"
And we held each other close, to never let go!
