The body of another innocent young boy, age 6 from Georgia, was found by
the authorites the other day.
I can feel the parents sorrow and sense of loss and waste over one more
senseless killing.

It's completely impossible to comprehend, no rational connection is
thought to exist, and yet how is at all possible. Yet there seems to be
some weird, insane connection between different sick or mentally
impaired perpetrators of similar insanities.

How can this be ? Yet it's there. The senseless violence and murder of
young children.
What sinister shadow hovers over our schoolyards and children ?

Is it the devil running wild on some extended holiday or is God on a
vacation ?

Maybe neither exist and it's just an errant short circuit in the human
psyche, like your car failing to start for no good intelligent reason
one cold morning.

Sacriligious ? Maybe then maybe not.
Who knows cuz we very rarely ever get an answer.

Oh yes, lots of hand wringing, soul searching, tears and prayers,
pulpits beseeching forgiveness for souls of the sick predators and
victims, some too young to be ever be guilty of anything 'cept being
alive, enough to get them tragically murdered in cold blood.

Forvgiveness but never any explanations or comprehension. Yes, hours of
TV news broadcasts, that will not be heard, reams of newsprint that will
not be read as some attempt to turn a profit on the tragedy. Many will
skip right over those headlines and head right to the sports scores,
stock market or local social columns. or maybe our political boutique
wars started at whatever whim or will. Tuned out, it's too
reprehensible, scary, ugly, wrong.

Are we all just too busy ? Or unconsciously in fear of it happening
within one's own family, as a victim or even, God forbid, as a
perpetrator. -

Obviously it does happen, and is possible in every little corner of this
country, like an errant bolt of lightening. Why ?

Yep we're all too busy, while it appears that this world, this society,
this conscience of ours continues to ecologically, morally and
spiritually just keeps on falling apart.
