First off this is kinda long cause you need to know most of the detail to really help me MUMM.. I will say my sons' dad is a complete bum and would rather sit on welfare than work, he's said it to an employer once..
Anyways, when my baby was first born 3 months ago he(his dad) was all fine and being daddy, now all of a sudden he's denying that my son's his.. Well whatever, my DNA test can be paid for..
I have a lawyer and my case has been accepted, I just now have to go do the paper work (Thursday).. but now I'm thinking why bother when his dad isn't even working, so it's not like I would get any money from him.. ever... he never keeps a job more than 3 months.. and 3 months is pushing it.
Even when my son is proven to be his, I highly doubt he will be around to help, even physically, he hasn't really been there before he denied it, and I don't think anything will change when it's proven.. He is a dead beat dad. He's a good friend to me but a not so good father (he has another, older son, so I can say this through seeing it)..
I'm wondering if I should go through with this for my son and his sake (not like it would help either of them much), or just forget about it because it is a long process and useless waste of my time for a useless father. |
