CherryTap is like the Wal-Mart of social networking sites. I know it's touted as an "internet night club" or whatever. Clever, real fucking clever marketing department.
I spent the better part of the last hour reviewing some of the user base. Hate me if you want, but I must be honest.
-About 45% of the users are grossly overweight. They have nothing but headshots, which is a rather dead giveaway for "being obese". Being fat is OK, I'm not that much of an asshole, but don't try to hide it. Hide it, and then I'm an asshole. I have a PhD in being a ruthless motherfucker.
-About 50% of the male demographic is kinda... disgusting. I'm not going to say I'm a prize catch or anything, because I'm really just a drunk guy with a sharp wit. But if you are middle age, hairy, and sending cherry blasts just asking "for friends", give it up. Give up life, man. Go to Tijuana and buy some hookers because finding someone to hook up with on CT isn't going to happen.
-About 10% of the girls are super hot, pornstars, in the modeling business, or have really big self-esteem issues. Yes, you are hot. Yes, you know it (because of the fake tits and Paris Hilton tan), but jesus, please stop trying to gain validation for what you already know on the internet.
-About a good 75% of everyone on here are social recluses. Once again, this is OK. Not everybody has an outgoing personality and likes to be the center of attention. But being on Cherrytap/Myspace/Facebook/Xanga 24/7 basically confirms the fact you would rather tinker with your image on the internet than develop your personality outside of cyberspace. Don't try to deny otherwise. I'm smarter than you and already know this.
-About 5% of the people I've encountered are REAL. They enjoy the site to be flirtatious, like being entertained, and typically seem like normal people with normal lives.
What I'm trying to say is if you are in that elite 5%, hit me up. I personally assure you I'm just as awesome in real life as my profile tells you. Actually, I think my profile tells you I'm a drunk with a penchant for beautiful women.
