Well here is the first installment of the world according to Bud. As always stream of consciousness and with full typos :). I guess i don't have anything more important to say than anyone else who takes the time to tickle the keyboard but I'm honored that you, poor reader, have taken the time to check out my ramblings.
The subject that strikes my fancy today is describing my impression of Fubar so far, from the eyes of a newbie. I have had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people and truly make some great friends. I can definitely see how this would become an addiction and i'm doing my best to keep going to work and eating dinner etc. I suppose if i don't I'd end up sleeping at the keyboard and wasting away to nothing.
Well, all joking aside I have really enjoyed my time on Fubar. It definitely took a little time to get rolling and find my social niche but it was worth the time investment. I think by taking your time and letting friendships develop it makes the rest of the interactions on the game all the more meaningful and rewarding. Don't get me wrong I'm as much of a perv as the next guy but my amorous pursuits are always enhanced by the friendships I make along the way.
Therefore, a piece of advice to the new Fubar user that is wasting their time reading this silly blog: Make sure you interact with the people in the world and treat it as you would real life. Letting go of your inhibitions and acting out some fantasies in Fubar that you perhaps would not in real life does not translate to bypassing normal social protocol. If you treat the people in here as people, you will definetly be rewarded by forming great friendships and perhaps enjoying other exploits as well. Do not assume that just because we are all on an "adult" (and i use that term loosely) website everyone is always in a dirty mood or would be with you. Also, do not ever assume that just because a person has decided to share erotic or personal pictures or comments that that person is always open to advances. We all have occasions where we like to feel sexy and show off a bit but we also expect others to realize that this is not our entire persona. So, get to know the person and you may, just may get to really know the perv.
