this is a snippet of one seen from the book i'm writing. i thought, out of the entire chapter, this would be perfect for fubar :) tell me what you think.
"Mid-way through the movie, she looked to me, touching my face, and pressed her lips to mine. Every kiss we had always brought me back to that first one. Even after a full year, I still enjoyed the mint in her breath and the taste of cherries on her lips. Her tongue slid next to mine, prompting me to slide my hand to her cheek. Hearing her moan under her breath is what usually brought me over the edge. Unable to contain the passion anymore, she silently stood up and grabbed my hand, leading me upstairs and back into her bedroom.
She turned to me, tugging at the bottom of my shirt, and pulling it up over my head. I lean in, lightly kissing and nibbling on her neck, as I slide my hand from her nape and down her chest, fingering each button of her fitted flannel and not stopping until it was able to completely slip off. Tossing it beside me, and with nothing between us, but a couple pieces of denim and a black lace bra, I kiss her deeper and harder than before. I wrap my arm around the small of her back and pull her close. Take her weight and lifting her, I crawl us on the bed and gently lie her back. Our hands explore each other, eventually reaching for the belts that were holding us back. Then, finally, we disappear under the covers, lost in each other’s passion.
With her body against mine, feeling her warmth radiating, I kiss her forehead; relishing in the flower and berry scent of her hair that I fell in love with. Hearing her purr under her breath, feeling her heartbeat against me, matching her deep breathing with mine, I knew I didn’t want this to change. I wanted this forever, and I knew she did too.
Lying in complete bliss, we eventually succumbed to the evening, slipping into a deep sleep."
