This Month is Breast Cancer awareness month. Breast cancer is one of the leading causes in death for women. I applaud this. My ex-wife is a survivor as is my stepmother and my Grandmother lost both breasts and survived both times and passed from old age. But my wife passed from liver and colon cancer at 49 as did both of her sisters in their 50s and her mother of lung cancer also in her 50s. My great grandmother died of cancer when I was 13. Prostrate cancer kills hundreds of thousands of men every year.
My point is, shouldn't all cancers be targeted and brought to the public's awareness? Understand, please, I think that what is being done to bring awareness to breast cancer should be continued and pressed even harder. But are we not forgetting the other cancers that are taking our loved ones? Shouldn't we press them all?
