I don't believe a person can fall in love with someone they've never met in person. Even if you chat for days, months or even years online, and that includes video chatting, you can't really know someone. You won't know if you love each other until the two of you get together in the same room.
Is it possible for two people be in love if they have never touched each other, felt the other's skin, sensed the warmth and smell of that person? That's not possible via chat, or even on video.
Love is a physical, emotional and spiritual thing. Online you only get the emotional part.
