Butterflies holds a special meaning to me. I never told anyone the reason why I have a butterfly tattoo on my lower back. Here is the reason why butterflies hold a special meaning to me. I am very serious with what I am about to say.
People see butterflies as cute and lovable. But before they are cute and lovable, they are a creature most say is ugly and want nothing to do with. They are a caterpillar at that time. Until they sleep in a warm and safe cocoon. When they wake up they become that cute and lovable creature. They become a butterfly. I see myself not as a butterfly, but as a caterpillar. Something ugly people see and want nothing to do with them. I wait for the day where I will fall asleep and wake up to the cute and lovable butterfly. I see the cocoon for me as a mans arms. Keeping me warm and safe. I wait for the day where people see me as a butterfly. I have the tattoo to remind me of a day where I would be that butterfly.
