I have noticed that a lot of people on here friend you without reading your about me and just look at your pictures and go by that. This is just plain idiotic, for you cannot judge a persons true character by looking at pictures, but by reading into their thoughts and feelings. To judge a person by what they look like shows how shallow a person you are.
The about me is there for a reason. I have clearly stated in no uncertain terms that I don't tolerate being disrespected and I am not here for cyber sex or head games, yet I am still being talked to like a cheap tramp. Some women may like this, but I don't and if you bothered to read my profile you would save yourself being at the bitch side of my personality which only comes out when my friends, my man, my family or me are being disrespected in any way, shape or form. Those that know me, know I am a warm and loving person, but when people are to ignorant and inconsiderate to read what I have to say, the bitch comes out to play. This is one reason why I keep my friends list short and those on it for the most part have earned my love and respect, those that haven't get deleted and in some cases blocked. So before you send me plain disrespectful comments or talk nasty to me I'd advise you read my profile.
This past Tuesday the life of a dear friend ended because of the inconsiderate action of another human being .. She was know by many in here and loved .. Two days after Memorial Day Donna on the way home from work on her Harley was hit head on by a woman who was texting while driving, she swerved into Donna's lane and Donna had no time to react. This woman had several other accounts of accidents due to texting and inattentive driving where others were hurt. Because of this woman's carelessness, she destroyed the life of Donna, but also her 11 year old daughter, family and friends, not to mention her own. She will be facing manslaughter charges along with several other charges due to this.
They need to pass stricter laws on this. Statistics state that a person texting while driving is like driving the entire length of a football field blinfolded. The rate of teen deaths has doubled in the past 5 years due to texting while behind the wheel of a moving vehicle. It isn't only teens guilty of this, the woman who hit Donna was in her early forties and the man who T-boned me while texting was in his 70's. This senseless disregard to the safety of others has got to stop. The judges need to inforce stricter penalties on those who disregard the laws against texting while driving.
I was going through my friends list today and realized that only about half of the friends on there bother to interact with me. I put a high value on friendship and treasure it as the gift it is. I don't understand why people bother to ask for your friendship, yet once you accept have nothing to do with you. Is it a status thing to see how many friends you can get on your page? Is it to get you to bomb them?, or rate and like them, yet don't bother to return the gifts they have been given. I would really like to know. I was raised that friendship is a two way street, each giving and receiving of each others time and self. Am I wrong in believing this way?
What is it that makes people so cold and cruel towards another human being? People are quick to judge and condemn others because of looks, background or disability, yet don't know all the facts behind it.
I am the mother of a 28 year old son who is a high functioning autistic, who was bullied, beaten, ridiculed, laughed at and called names all of his life. Does anyone realize the psychogical damage that causes?, or the pain and anguish they suffer? My son is of high intelligence, Eistein smart yet was called a dummy all of his life. He has a heart of gold, is kind and generous, a gentleman in every sense of the word, but is used and abused by those around him. He has a very low self esteem and believes he is worthless because of the cruelty of others and hurts himself rather than taking it out on others.
This is just one case of what bullying does. In many cases these school shootings were done by kids who had enough of being bullied, yes they went about it the wrong way, but this is the kind of psychological damage it does to a person.
Who will take a stand with me against any kind of bullying or abuse?
