The bruises have disappeared
But the pain is still there
I now comepletely fear
The man who told me he did care.
In my mind, i replay the fight
And wonder why this happened to me.
In my mind i know it is not right
To beat on a women so vigorously.
How can true love turn like this
What did i do that was so wrong?
A love like this i know i won't miss
so why do i continue to play the same old song?
I love the man with all of my heart.
For him i would have done everything i could.
But now i know we have to part,
I've put up with more than i should.
Pain like this can last a life time
I only hope to never again be misused.
