This is short and so true, I have come to the conclusion that instead of doing things my way, I should just let things take its course and everything will fall into place.

A note I remind myself when obstacles are placed in my way:

I have no regrets, everything I have done and everything I have gone through has made me who I am today, which, I cannot complain. If everything came easy and was always so happy go lucky, then this world would be a boring place. We have to go through hard times in order to appreciate the good times, and the things in life that make us happy. When obstacles are put in our way we should learn from them and from them grow. That is what makes us stronger. I am not perfect, but I try my best to be a better person by overcoming the hard times, allowing them to help me grow and become stronger as an individual. I promised myself to never forget who I am and where I came from. I am thankful for everyone and everything that has walked in and out of my life. They have contributed to some part of my life in some way. No matter how they affected me, the only thing that matters the most is that they made me, me. That is what I remind myself and keep close to my heart.
