Can Time Really Heal
Apr. 17, 2006 at 06:16 AM Innocent lives were taken,
Of the young, old and small.
As they scurried through the buildings,
That had once stood so tall.
The days were long and dreary,
The nights so long and dark.
As heroes scoured through the rubbish,
Of two planes that left a mark.
A day to be remembered,
Of our neighbors close at heart.
We pray for victims families,
Whose lives were torn apart.
As time quickly passes,
And we still endure the pain.
It's hard for many to move on,
As things will never be the same.
