Kids learn from there parents. Parents where teachers and understood that they where responsible for the child's well being beyond there childhood. As a parent you have to understand that you are grooming the next generation. The next police officer or fireman or president or roofer or car salesmen, the next parent!!! If I as a parent fail to teach my child and then he fails to teach his child so on and so on. This is where we are at in the world right now. We are at such a place where its common to see a kid screaming in Wal-Mart and the parent is to afraid of doing anything about or to lazy. We have kids shooting up schools, killing there parents the list goes on. We as a nation some where have failed. The first thing that comes to my mind is a lack of discipline for those who don't know what that means:
the practice of training people to obey rules or a code of behavior, using punishment to correct disobedience.
As a nation we have laws don't fallow the laws and pay the price be it a fine or jail time or some other form of punishment. At lest that is how it should be!
At what point did we stop punishing criminals? We have child rapist walking on our streets murders and abusers walking free.. So much so that there are many websites and apps for your phone to locate where these people live (assuming they fallowed the law and reported where they live). At what point did we stop holding criminals accountable for there crimes. When did it become ok to sue a place for having hot coffee or putting people on trial for defending there home or family.
Do you see how these topics are related? When there is a lack of punishment there is a problem. With out a way of enforcing the rules the rules will be broken.
