Johns Hopkins lists the usa of having a 1.8% death rate for people who have contracted covid. That means its only deadly in less than 2% of all people who get covidand thats only if you can trust the reporting of cases vs deaths and all the other health issues that person may have had. So why are willing to give up our freedoms on a less than 2% chance of death even iff we get covid at all? Boston tea party tax 3cents per pound of tea. and we all know how that went right?
Gun violence is a myth.
A gun is not violent, its people who are violent. Until people understand this there will be no change. If everyone who was able to with in the rules of the law carried a firearm and knew how to use it, the crime rate would drop. Gun free zones only effect those who fallow the law. Criminals don't fallow the law. These school shootings Need to stop. I am so feed up with hearing about a loss of life. Arm those who want to be and give them the proper training and let them carry in the schools. This fear of firearms is crazy. It has been and will always be people. So the question is how do we deal with bad people? How do we make them less likely to think its easy. How many times have you heard of a gun store being robbed? How many times has said gun store robbery resulted in a good guy being shot? How many times have people in that gun store dealt with the threat with no loss of life to the good guys? Why is that. Simple Good guys with guns. Its a high risk target. Make schools high risk make homes high risk make people high risk. Give the bad guys a reason to question what there about to do. Will this stop everyone No there will always be that person who has no goal other than to hurt some one, But it will limit his ability to do so. It will make people question if they can get away with it. Change the statues que. What we have been doing is not working.
Why do we have to secure rights we have already secured? This is the hardest part WE ALLOWED IT. Some where along the line we said " ok we will let you take this right even though its ageinst the law" At that moment we opend the doors to let all kinds of rights and freedoms become stolen from us and we think its ok that it serves some kind of greater good some how. Give and inch take a mile. We cant back down we cant give them any of our rights and freedoms. Infact we must take back what has been stolen. This is excatly why we have the right to keep and bare arms to defend from those who would try to take our freedoms. Theres all kinds of people in history who took something small a little bit of freedom then took something a bit larger and then even larger and next thing you know people are dieing. By the time anyone relizes it the con is so far along nothing can be done. We keep allowing things that we know are not right as laid out by the constituion to be taken from us. The moment we allowed the Govement to say you cant have this becuse so in so did something bad with it we screwed ourselves. We cant punish a tool becuse some one used it wrong. How can we take back what we have lost? I have no idea. We elect people we think stand for us but dont. Every where there are wolves in sheeps clothing. How can we trust anyone to stand by what they say. A hand shake and the word of some one means nothing in this day an age and thats a big problem. If some one went back on there word that person was never trusted again by anyone! That person couldnt barter for a loaf bread becuse we knew he was a lier. We have gone soft on all forms of crime and dishonesty. Here comes another problem, let say that he actully didnt go back on his word and the other guy is the one who went back on his word. How do we know who is lieing and who is telling the truth? We forgot how to have reasone how to think for ourselves. Its a brain washing in a way we are so use to thinking that giving up this right serves some greater good. That it has become normal and even expected on our parts. Something must change! We must change how we view things. This way of thinking isnt limited to just firearms it covers so much more. Really think about everything we have lost and then why we lost it.
Personally, I do not feel that guns are the issue. Anyone who wants to do harm to another will find a way. I have no problem with teachers carrying (if they want to) assuming they have had some sort of class. A lot of states require a class to learn the laws and proficiency testing before you can carry a firearm. I had to file documents to release my medical records (mental health and physical health) plus the background checks and this isn't counting the 10 pages of questions and interview with county sheriffs office. This is all just to carry a fire arm. Buying one requires a whole different permit in my state. This took about 8 months. I think a simpler solution to the problem is to hire x military and x cops to walk the halls during school hours. Give them mental health check ups testing to make sure they know how to use a firearm and know the laws of the state, or some sort of paper work from there past job showing they can safely operate a firearm. Most of the xmilitary folks I have talked to would do it for free. Some already have permits to carry so that would take the need for testing away. I would be more than willing to walk the halls of my child's school. I think the biggest problem is a lack of parents teaching there kids respect and good morals. I hope this don't start a huge fight, that is far from my goal. Just sharing my thoughts on the topic. God bless and be safe!
After the Chinese invented black powder during the 9th century, the prototype of the fire lance was invented in Chine during the 10th century and is the predecessor of all firearms. It seems to me firearms have been around for a very long time. There have been may wars and murders befor firearms where invented. People have been killing each other since the dawn of time be it with barehands, rocks, sticks, clubs, knifes, bow and arror, a firearm. Why is the method in question and not the person? When did it become ok to question the tools instead of the person using the tool. That is what all those items I listed are. TOOLS! They where used for hunting and skinning. At what point in time did it be come ok to question the item and not how the person decided to use it. When did we grow to fear an object. Do we blame those 9th century Chines inventors for makeing the black powder? Do we blame those who invented the knife? Or those who made the bow and arrow? I think not!!! So lets not blame the firearm and blame the person using it!!
Kids
Have you ever sat in a play ground and watch kids interact with each other. They will play with just about anyone and call you a friend in just a short amount of time. They are always watching and learning. Seeing what others do. The mind of a child is such an amazement to me. They have no true racism or hate. There is no greater joy than that of a child's. They look to those around them for guidance and support. Sadly and way to often that support is lacking or missing. Children look to who there around the most, they learn and study everyone and everything. Always processing information. They look to see how adults act and react. They imitate what they see. Most of the time children are a direct representation of there parents. You can almost always tell what the parents are like just by there children.

I was watching tv a few nights ago. Some political talk show was on in the waiting room. I sat down to see what was going on and while listening to these few menand women talk it became evident to me that, Non of them had any understanding about these two documents that our country was formed on.. I'm not saying that I know more than them. Just that some times people forget the important things in life...
We as a nation at one point lived and believed in the things we said. Not saying what we can to make the most money or gain power. But to stand up and say what we feel in our hearts and souls.. To believe in something so strong that we would die for that belief..
While your are out and about today shopping going to bank and such. Take a look at the people around you how they act where there going how they speak to others. Most of the time you will see that they are self oriented. Meaning they only care about there wants needs and desires. Now, if these type of people are who "We The People" are then no wonder people in the government only care about themselves, Because that's all the people they are supposed to represent care about. So if we understand that. Then the first place to start any kind of change is with ourselves.
Those documents where created because people changed there views and beliefs, and with that change came a nation.
For there to be change we must first change our self.
I'm not trying to make people believe anything just stating a few of my views. I'm not about forcing others to agree. I'm about sharing ideas to form something better that everyone can agree on.
