Yesterday I finally got some time to go and see my father, who is currently in hospital care, waiting for a nursing home to come available for him. Well he has gottten worse since the last time I saw him. He is very sick now, he might lose his foot because of his diabetes, also his memory is getting worse with each day. he didn't even know who i was for a few mintues when i got there. This is becoming a very hard thing for me to face, I don't think he will last another year. I am not ready to give up on him yet but it is a reality i will have to soon face.
Also on the other hand I have finally met my older brother that my father had with a woman over 55 years ago, my brother Chuck and his wife Kathy came to town to see our father, who he hasn't seen since he was 2 yrs old. I also discovered that I have another sister who lives about an hour and half drive away from me.
