It's weird, for years, like 9 years, I've wanted to be a computer programmer, I've wanted to make video games.
A couple of nights ago I made a comment on how "being a blacksmith is the most 'metal' career there is", you know, as a pun. Now all of a sudden all I can think about is being a blacksmith...
I'm not sure what to do, I have untill spring to decide what I want to do, but I just don't know if its a foolish dream or not...
I was told I could make approximatly $2000-$4000 just for shoeing a horse, and thats only like $100 dollars worth of metal. It'd be a lot of work but... thats a lot of money. Plus, how badass would it be to be able to make yourself a full suit of armor and a greatsword, AND due to your job be able to weild them like its nothing?
At the same time though, I have so manye ideas for video games... and I know I could make tons of money doing that if I make a major title... And I'd know I'd make a quality game that I'd be proud to play...
Also being a programmer increases my chance of carple tunnel syndrome, and being a bassist I don't really want that...
Looking at this post it kind of looks like a made a decision... but maybe I'm just being biased at the moment...
Well, thanks if anyone read this... comments would be cool but you don't have too...
