The Off Switch I am looking for the off switch, the off switch for life! To turn off all emotion, all feeling. To become a robot like everyone else and not caring. It is easy to watch the world and time go by with out a care. It is easy to give up all together. But how many times do you have to be the loser before the easy way looks the best? How many times do you lose at love and companionship before you give up?
I am looking for the off switch, the off switch for life! In the game of life it seams I have been dealt a losing hand. Time is running out, but I will see it to the end because I have to know how the story ends. I know it’s a horror story. I’m just looking for the hero to save the day. But the hero’s are far and few between and the ones there are, they are looking out for the good people. Some times I wish I had made better choices in my life, some times I wish I had never been born! Some times I wish I could go back and change things.
I am looking for the off switch, the off switch for life! To sit in the dark is all I wish for now, so I don’t have to watch the world go by. So I don’t have to see love that I will never have, never know. I hope in my next life I will know love.
