Wow, art class today sucked. I've been chatting with this cute girl, Sam, for the past couple weeks. I got her number on Wed (she gave it to me, I didn't ask for it), and called her Fri after work to see if she wanted to grab a bite to eat or whatnot. Well, she already had movie plans with some friends, so we were going to do something Sat. I call her the next day (sat) to detail plans and such, and ask her to come with me to Second Saturday, Which is a monthly art gallery galla that we have to go to for class. She enthusiastically agreed, saying she was getting her hair done at 4, then a bit of costume shopping before she'd give me a call and we'd go.
Around 5 she called and said that they weren't anywhere close to finished with shopping, even though she was getting a bit tired. I wasn't really surprised by that. So, she had to take a raincheck and said she'd call once she got home. I didn't hear from her.
Until I saw her today in class. Well, she and her friends got done around 9, and then another of her friends called, and they went and hung out some more. During this time she apparently met another guy and they really hit it off. Brilliant. So I'm written off twice, only to be beaten by some guy who she randomly meets. I'm not really angry at her, it happens. But I am very annoyed and pissed in general.
And people wonder why I dont' have much self-confidence when it comes to matters of dating and the like.
