A Friends Love
Time ticks away on a clock I cannot stop,
While the woman of my dreams slowly walks away,
I smile in happiness for the friend that I adore,
Even though the tears well up and start to pour,
I try to hold them in and think of the times
When we would talk and she would be so kind,
Her voice like an angel and her skin so soft,
All the men flocked to her but she held me aloft,
Her laugh was so cute and her Grrrr so sexy,
A goddess she is and forever will be,
My heart may ache from here on out
But please do not let it bring any doubt,
That you are the most wonderful woman on Earth
Caring and loving and making me wish that I could surf
My fingers through your hair just once,
Holding you close and caressing your cheek
I kiss you once and start to feel weak,
For I have given you all my love and blessing
And will forever love you from this day forward.
