creating a mobster

Congradulations! you have created your Mobster.

Initial steps are 2 ways:
Either receive a money favor or do 10 missions; in both instances you will then buy territires typically it is News stands to start off.

***Some keys to always remember***
Never level too fast, Cashflow vs. upkeep, and Never ever buy UZI's they are a waste of time and money. You can build three mobsters by clicking switch mobster and then create a new "toon". Try and sit below level 10 until your cashflow is over 10 million. If you don't want to wait then I recommend a minimum of 2 million.

Now that your on your way I'll explain Cashfow vs. Upkeep

!Everyting in mafia costs money! some of the weapons, armor and vehicles have upkeep for each; there is a ratio you want to maintain 3 to 1. So minimum of 3x's your upkeep would be your Cashflow. If you notice you need more cashflow then buy more territories, when buying territories there are a few tricks: some of the more expensive ones you can by 1 at a time until you have enough Cash to buy in blocks of 10 each. This brings up your cashflow a little faster. Hunting on the Hit list Help ;)....js....

**Only buy 10 of the following at a time: Deserted Lot, Abandoned Storefront and Town Square; these are used when buying other propterties. Buying more then 10 raises the price and wastes money. Eventually you want to try and have atleast 1000 properties of each besides the three mentioned above.

Safe House:
Try and buy the levels as soon as you can. If someone attacks you it helps protect your money.

Bank:
There are different levels of interest from .5% to 10%. You really don't need to bank initially and your focus should be to buy properties. After you have 3 Million cashflow go ahead and make a deposit of 1million and leave it there try and use the .5% bank.


Missions:
you want to do up to 7 missions to diamond before you start on your weapons upgrades. Skill points earned should be as such:

Health, lvl 10 (500), lvl 15 (700) and so on. You don't need more than 12K in health until you get over lvl 600.
Attack, should be 2/3's your health
Defense, should be 2/3's your health
*Energy, MAX this out until you have 2500
Stamina, for each level you are you should have a stamina point (never over 500)

You will only ever need 750 of each below until you get to lvl 450. The key is to look at the attack value and defense value.

Weapons:
Buy the highest weapon available (except Uzi's), up to lvl 20 you won't use more then 200 mob to fight so you only need what you will use. As you move up buy higher weapons unless you need them for a misison, get rid of the lower weapons. 
--Keep your SHOTGUNS 250 of them you will need them later and you will upgrade to keep 250 AA12 shotguns.
--Buy 750 M16's, then upgrade them and keep 250 upgraded.


Armor: 
Buy the Highest Armor available keeping only 50 of the lower ones until you have completed those missions no need to keep somthing your not going to use..... see a patern developing?...
-- Keep radioactive bomb suites and Laser Turrets :D
-- Buy 750 Full body armor until Swat becomes available then sell yoru full body and buy Swat,,, once Ghille suits become available buy those and sell Swat.
*** Blast Shelters are Crucial buy 750 then upgrade to Reinforced, these will upgrade to Sam Sites (750 only)
You should have your shelters built and upgraded by level 250.

Vehicles:
Buy 50 street bikes until you reach lvl 15 then buy 300. This will give you your achievment. 
--Military jeeps (buy 450) keep 50 bikes.
--Armored Trucks (buy 500) keep 50 Jeeps and 50 bikes.
--Tactical Utility (buy 750) keep 50 of the lower until not needed in missions anymore.
--SCB-304 Subs Buy 100 at a time you will upgrade these using the recycle and nuclear missions.
*** Tanks, Tanks and more Tanks.... ONLY 30 of each... yw...lol (keep them forever trust me)
---AH-64 Apache (buy 750), keep tanks forever, get rid of tactical veh, armored truck, jeep and Bike if they are not needed for a mision!! hint hint wink wink...that darn partern again.... if your not gonna use it then why keep it... (not trying to hord stuff here) giggle snicker.

**--** Stealth AH-64, after you build up and have 750 you will start building subs and Amphibious Assault Ships.... You only need to (keep 450). Once you see there are no more missions requiring them get rid of them... FYI you will need them unil the last mission.

--A-10 Warthog, you only need 200...

--Armed SCB-304, you can use the recycle and nuclear missions in a rotation of 40 each until all of your AAS are built. KEEP 40!!! 

--**-- Amphibious Assault Ship, first off this takes FOREVER be patient and do all 750 you will thank me later for all the wins.


Merc -- If you have a friend not playing the game invite them with your Merc link located in Fumafia Help and then scroll down...its the yellow link. They should never join on the same computer you play. Have them lvl to 7 unless they want to play.... then show them this document so they can be just as strong as you.

Soldier Spots:


To keep your soldier spot, you  must be active. That doesn’t mean bringing in huge bounties or running missions. This means you that you log in regularly to check on your mobsters, make sure they are alive and well, invest their money as appropriate to increase cashflow and generally try to improve your mobster. If you don’t log in for three days, you will lose it.

We don't expect you to have the biggest and baddest mobster EVER but we do expect you to at least be fully mobbed. That is 5x your current level (ie: level 10, your usuable mob is 10x5=50, level 20 x 5= 100 and so on), usuable mob maxes out at 750 usable mobbies at level 150. Don't drop links in turfs and expect them to add you; you could just get listed for your troubles. Instead look on our turf board, each of the allies listed is a link, go to their turfs and send out mob requests. You usually get a hefty amount of the accepted within 24 hours. Also our turf, we have quite a few members that have room and they would gladly accept if you sent them a request.

Lieutenants in our turf are to be respected.

They have earned those spots by working hard; keeping the best interest of the turf above all, helping our turf be strong and our members enjoy the game.  This doesn’t mean they are always right but there are ways to handle a difference of opinion that doesn’t involve potty mouth and disrespect. Lts should step down if they don’t have the time to dedicate to regular play and defending the turf.

Visitors:

Don’t trash talk our visitors. They are there for a reason and probably not to swap insults (though that does happen sometimes!) Do not attack them because they happen to be in your range and you are “curious”.  If an LT or above tells you to cease fire while they are negotiating or what not, then please do it.  If you don’t have something positive to contribute to the outside world then stay private. You can trash talk them all you want in private in our turf.  If you are asked to stop talking to them, just do it. It doesn’t have to be a well explained and sugar coated request because we are all MOBSTERS!

Rules of Engagement:
A. One attack on anyone in a turf is expected.
B. Three attacks on anyone in a turf is acceptable. 
C. Four attacks on a single turf member within an hour's time frame or hitting multiple mobsters in the same turf is considered provocative and retaliation should be expected. 
D. Unaffiliated mobsters and unprotected turfs with less than 20 mobsters are fair game. Hit them as often as you like.  Just be sure you aren’t messing with some power house turf that limits their size on purpose. Know your target. It is polite to accept their mob request if they send one but not required. Don't complain if they list you for milking.

Rules of Retaliation:
A. Retaliation against mobsters who are members of 75+ turfs need to be approved by the Boss or the Underboss. Provoking these turfs in any way is prohibited.
B. Backhands are inflammatory and basically serve three purposes.

 One is if you get your ass whooped and there is nothing you can do about it, one might backhand a bunch of times out of frustration. We like to call these “Temper Tantrums”. Back hands do not need to be addressed unless they are excessive so don’t get all jacked up about it. You have only lost a few points of health.

Two is as a warning that perhaps you are hitting an ally. Just something to catch your attention. If an Lt or above backhands you in our turf, they are trying to get your attention, please come to the meeting room and find out why.

Three as a way to kill a mobster (if you have scrubs) without spending all your money!


C. We have multiple members that monitor the feed every day though out the day monitoring for over hitting, friendly fire (hitting an allie) in either direction, and just generally watching out for our family. We will be retaliating on your behalf. You might want to mention that you were over hit before you address it yourself because often we have already taken care of it for you.

If we find you are retaliating on your own without asking what’s up, we will determine that you don’t want our help in defending you and you will take care of it yourself when you get back on line. Double retaliation isn’t cool.

This game is about Mafia Wars.  That is what we signed up for. This means that sometimes we have skirmishes or issues with other turfs. Sometimes related to something that you did, or maybe something another person in our turf did. Sometimes you may be collateral damage on one of these skirmishes.  This is also why it is important to ask if you saw that you got raped while you were gone. If we get into a nasty fight with someone and we resolve it then you come on and retaliate based on what you are seeing in your feed, you can stir it all up again and get your teammates killed. That is not optimal.

D. Hitlisting is prohibited unless performed by and Lieutenant of above. If you feel someone is a candidate for hitlisting or you want to hitlist someone please discuss this with an Lt or above. Backhands as  individual retaliation should be performed by an Lt or above as well.

 

IF you see a turfie being overhit and have a mobster in the attackers level range, attack the attacker. Doesn't matter if you win or lose! Winning is nice but suppressing them so they can’t hit our players is effective retaliation as well.
