I'm painfully honest and if you don't believe me keep reading. I can be something of an intellectual but I'm silly or a wise ass by default. I can barely stand planning but do so out of necessity. I love music and can stay up all night just listening to good music, but that's not too unusual for my demographic I suppose? My tastes in music are very eclectic and that's how I like it, consequently its likely I will think all of your music sounds the same, but I won't judge you for it. I think disliking something for its popularity is equally stupid as liking something for its popularity. In much of the counterculture I see springing up, people are frighteningly cliquish, homogeneous to the point of being identical, and narrow minded. If you try to stand out and end up like that there's something very wrong with you. I'm spontaneous to a possibly unhealthy extreme, but not oblivious to the consequences and not typically in any trouble I can't handle. I'm arrogant but act generally act humble. I'm stubborn but very patient. I'm usually bored and unsatisfied with where I am and what I'm doing but I'm used to it so I won't complain much. I complain about other things enough anyways. I used to be so nice I got used a lot, but I'll still go out of my way for people I respect. I'm understanding, sympathetic, and respectful to just about everyone, but I grow bored and disinterested of most people quickly. I'm a good judge of character though, so generally if I've made the effort to talk to someone its not someone I'll get bored of. I have a fondness for the abstract, the romantic, and the spontaneous, but I'm usually rational and realistic. I'm naturally far too curious so I've also become a fan of science as a result. I like knowing how everything works, especially when they work in ways that are counter-intuitive or very clever somehow. I'm not a psuedointellectual, I just think too much without bothering to read enough of other people's thoughts. As such, I don't make esoteric pop philosophy references that aren't really that profound. Its hard to get me in a philosophical mood lately. I've already made up my mind on all of the big questions, and can explain my point rather concisely, so thinking over or discussing philosophy is too often just a recital of what I take for granted. I have an unusually frequent desire for physical closeness and miss it sooner and more upon its absence than I do sex. I have a sense of humor which I sometimes think is half of my personality even if I haven't made much show of it here. I really just amuse myself too much and if anyone else is amused, all the better.
