Well another of my poems has recieved the Editor's Choice award and will be recorded onto a compilation CD.
My first poem that was written for an ex boyfriend won the same award two years ago.
This new piece was written for a dear friend of mine who helped me thru one of the darkest times in my life.

A Portrait of You
The colours on an artist's easel
All the colours we know and many to be discovered
All put on canvas to paint a story
Colour the imagination
You are it's muse
No one colour could ever describe you
No one colour could ever paint the story you keep
Hues of red... whisps of black..dabs of colour here and there
No lines,no beginning,no end
Layers on layers...shadow and light
The spectrum of colours is just not enough
To paint a portrait of you
