So, I had a conversation with someone yesterday and it's really been weighing on my mind. They said they didn't feel like they weren't a good enough wife/husband to their spouse because they don't see each other a lot due to work. My opinion is, if you are both providing for all necessities, never feel like you're not good enough.
Furthermore, and I have said this to many many people.. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS tell those that you love that you love them. Every time you see them m...ake it a point to tell them how you feel, no matter if you're mad, sad, angry, hurt, etc.. because you never know what's going to happen.
ALWAYS love them unconditionally. Hug them, kiss them, spend time & cuddle with them, make love as often as time allows. Look into their eyes and tell them just how much they mean to you. Life is too short not to and it doesn't take long to do any of the things I listed.
Whether you're married, dating, talking to, seeing, etc - ALWAYS tell the other how you feel. I can't stress that enough. We are not promised tomorrow, and can't predict the future. I told said person to sit back and think.. think what if my wife/husband were to pass away unexpectedly. What would you do? How would you react?
It's hard for a lot of people to ask themselves that question. And answer it honestly. Everyone has different feelings and emotions. But just think about it, we never know when our number is going to be pulled and we're called back home. This year alone has made me step back and think about a lot of things. Been a rough road, but I'm making it alright.
My point of this whole post was to just put it out there, cherish every waking moment with whoever you're with. Love with all your heart and soul, because when it's too late you will end up with a whole whirlwind of regret. Trust me, I know.
I lost my husband unexpectedly on February 25th, 2017. What I wouldn't give to do all these things with him again. It's been a long hard road, but I'm making it day by day. I love you Richie, fly high my angel.
