"Dreams fade like water out to sea. My love for you will rise someday," she tells her lover as he lays dying from the bomb that his goverment dropped. A soilder he is not, forced to be in the middle of a war he is not a part of. Now he dies from it.
Her eyes are like rain clouds, crying from the heavens. She walks away from the land where his body lies, a ghost forced to go through life alone, like she had done before him. Alone, his death on her shoulders, a single mother, alone.
"How could I be alone agian?" she yells at the sky. She falls to her knees and says, "You have taken everything now. Why me?"
The government comes to her door and says, "Ma'am we have to take your son." She yell and trys to stop them but the goverment takes her son too. Alone and with the goverment taking everything she knows, she tries to leave the country but she is stuck here, for they don't let anyone leave.
She is forced to stay in a country that claims to be free when really it is a cage, a prison she can not leave.
They took her world away, alone she can not do anything but sit and watch. She watches her life fade away, her friends and family die, one by one, but she can't get out. She is stuck in a hell that she did not ask to be in, and now there is no exit.
The war ends and everyone around her is gone. One of the few survivors, she waits, to make her break or to die, whichever comes first. All she can think about is that anywhere is better than this hell.
Weeks pass, and lonliness tears at her soul. She can't take it anymore. She rips a gun from a fallen soldier's hand and makes her way to what's left of the city, to what's left of the government that had caused her so much pain. With the gun pointed straight to her head she screams out, all her emotion flowing through her veins. She pulls the trigger, leaving her mark upon the world that had taken everything from her. She took the only thing they had left behind for her, so they never could.
Finally, she could rest in peace.
