Ok, some random musings from my brain thats been in overdrive lately analyzing everything haha.
Wow, just read my horoscope today--yes I still do that! And the fact is, I enjoy the little tid bits of wisdom and thought. Today's was interesting and really ties into some ongoing conversations I've been having with my friends...
A person isn't going to change, no matter how much you wish it to happen. All you can do is cut your losses. If you keep up the association, know that there are chronic personality tics you'll have to deal with.
It's so true. You really have to accept someone just the way they are, love them for who they are and accept them "warts and all" as my mom would say. Maybe it's human nature to want that ideal person and to try to mold others to fit our ideals but how boring would that really be?? VERY!
I guess we just need to remember that we want to be accepted just the way we are and loved for who we are and that we should give that same gift of acceptance right back. When you can't do that, ya gotta cut and run...I've done some of that recently and I feel pretty good about it. (Can't accept someone who's behavior is detrimental to your mental health and well being right?!)
