I have been taking care of my grandmother for several months now. She has late stages of Alzheimer's disease as well as dementia. I love her and want to help as much as possible, but the last month she has gotten so bad where i am helpless to help her, and her medication is not helping. I have started to think a nursing home would be the best option for her. they would have trained professionals and care 24/7 there. I just hate to take her away from her home and away from me, when she does remember who i am...anyone can help, and share personal experience!?
